The admission is given to the candidate for class VI and class IX only. The All India Sainik School Entrance Examination is held for admissions in class VI and class IX.
Admission in Class VI: For admission in class VI Boys and Girls who are between the age group of 10-12 years on 31st March in the year in which candidate(Boy/Girl) would be seeking admission in class VI, are eligible to appear for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination.
Admission in Class IX: For admission in class IX, BOYS in the age group of 13-15 years on 31 March in the year in which boy would be seeking admission in class IX, are eligible to appear for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination. For admission in class IX, the boy should be studying in class VIII in a recognized school.
Admissions are made strictly in order of merit only.
